Simmons is rolling out three new amps, building on the success of the DA200s and the follow-up DA2012B.

The new flagship DA2112 is a high-powered and versatile drum amplifier that combines high-fidelity sound, stage-ready power, three stereo line inputs and Bluetooth audio input — with flexible monitoring of metronome, click and guide tracks. It is rated at 350 Watts RMS and 2000 Watts peak output.

Next is the DA2110 (100 Watts RMS, 400 Watts peak) with two stereo line inputs and Bluetooth audio input. It has a three-knob EQ.

The entry-level 100 Watts RMS, 400 Watts peak DA2108 has two mono line inputs , an aux input and Bluetooth audio input as well as a two-knob EQ.

All the amps boast the Smart Stereo feature debuted with the DA2012B. It allows the use of two amplifiers, immersing the player in full-surround stereo, placing each element of the drum kit in its proper place in the stereo field. One amplifier controls the volume and tone for the full rig, making it easy to dial in the perfect sound and make global adjustments on the fly.

The new range features switchable 110/220 volt power, making these the first Simmons amps ready for global sales.

digitalDrummer has the whole range in testing at the moment and the review will be published in our May edition.

The DA2108 and DA2112 are available for order now, while the DA2110 is expected soon.
