Millenium Drums debuts NonaPad

Europe’s Millenium Drums has released its new electronic percussion pad, the NonaPad. The multipad offers “controlled performance with a great feel and an eclectic library of sounds (and) nine velocity-sensitive pads (capable of producing) expressive playing styles with ease,” according to the company. The NonaPad boasts 608 onboard sounds and 30 preset kits. Eagle-eyed readers will recognise the instrument from its other iterations: the ddrum NIO, dbdrums nPad, Avatar PD705 and Gear4Music DD90. The Chinese manufacturer, which sells the pad direct under its Avatar brand, has a strategy of releasing the instrument via regional distributors which can customise it for their local market. ddrum adds percussion pad

ddrum has added an electronic percussion pad to its product line-up. The new NIO Electronic Percussion Pad is billed as having “the capabilities of a fully functioning electronic drum kit”. It has nine isolated rubber pads and comes pre-loaded with 30 preset kits, including five ddrum kits; 20 user kits; and hundreds of built-in sounds. Additionally, you have the option to utilise 512 MB of storage for loading your own sample drum kits, sounds, or loops via USB (Type-B) output.
