Donner has added two finger drumming-type instruments, Essential D1 Performance Beat Machine and the MEDO Portable Integrated Synth, Sampler, Looper, and MIDI Controller.
The D1 is a Korg MPS-style beat maker and sampler with 16 velocity-sensitive pads.
The sound engine handles 12 tracks, with custom effects, two send effects (delay and reverb) and a compressor on the master channel.
The Essential D1 merges real-time recording and step sequencing workflows, and allows for seamless transitions between finger drumming and step sequencing.
In collaboration with leading sound design label Loopmasters, the Essential D1 includes samples covering a variety of music genres, with an emphasis on electronic music.
It functions a as standalone beat machine or can be paired with the Essential B1 Bass Synthesizer, while the Aux In connection and full-size MIDI I/O allow for integration with other gear.
Donner has also released its compact, portable, standalone musical instrument, the MEDO, which combines a sampler, synthesizer, looper, MIDI controller and a speaker.
Equipped with a built-in microphone, MEDO can record up to five seconds of audio, allowing for quick sound sampling.
Users can easily switch between various modes, including scale, drum, bass, chord, and lead, to begin making music immediately.
Supporting 128-bar loop recording, MEDO offers a broader spectrum of possibilities for music creation, catering to both beginners and professional musicians alike. The quantize feature ensures that your performance is automatically synchronized perfectly to the beat, taking care of all timing intricacies.
Both instruments are now available in all markets served by Donner.
